Our Story

Honey’s Place was founded in 1994 by Helene Kusens. The company began, literally, as a small “boutique” style distributor operating from a renovated beauty shop in Los Angeles. We started and remain a family business. My Name is Bonnie and this is our story.

My mother worked hard to support and build a strong client base using the foundation our company stands by today. Offering great customer service and creating solid relationships while keeping our clients best interests at heart.

“AT HONEY’S PLACE OUR BUSINESS IS YOUR SUCCESS”. That is how my mother operated and I am honored and pleased to continue that tradition.

Sadly, my mother passed away from breast cancer in 2002. It was an obvious decision to step in and keep the business running. We have moved twice within the past 6 years, our growth has been very impressive.

Our most recent move from Burbank to the current location at 640 Glenoaks Blvd., San Fernando, California was to a building twice the size of the last one. This has allowed us the opportunity to implement the technology and automated processes we have put into place prior to moving into this new building.

We are now in a position to support the constant growth and changes within the industry with respect to expansion of product selection and client base while being able to keep up with the ever changing standards necessary stay competitive.

It has been a fantastic journey that I am proud to be a part of. None of this would be possible without the continued support of our amazing client base and our experienced and professional sales team.

Meet Our Sales Team: At Honey’s Place we are committed to your success. Being a family business ourselves, we have a reputation of making our clients feel at home, just like one of the family. We are proud of the relationships we have built with our clients which supports the commitment we put towards your success. Our sales reps have a genuine concern for your business and personal wellbeing. We have formed personal intimate relationships with many of our clients as a result. It is a privilege to be brought into the personal lives of our clients and we respect that opportunity and value the relationships on both a business and a personal level. Our sale reps take time and care to ensure quality product selection and creative marketing ideas unique to your business model with that personal touch in mind.

Meet your Sale Rep:

Chris Armstrong: Chris has been in sales for 3 years. He began working with Honey’s Place in 2004 as a warehouse employee, soon after he was promoted to warehouse manager. His personality and strong people skills stood out and he was invited to join the sales team early in 2006. Chris specializes in customer service and product knowledge. He is our only bilingual sales rep which allows him to work on an international level with many types of clients around the world. He is a proud father of his son Brandon who is 2 years old. In his free time Chris loves to go to Dodger games and other sporting events as well as hanging out with friends and family.

Laura Sweet: Laura started 15 years ago at M&M Sales where she built a strong reputation and client base to support that. She started with Honey’s Place 2 ½ years ago when M&M closed their doors as a wholesale distributor. Her experience has helped Honey’s Place in our growth both administratively as well as supporting our progress in technology and streamlining our processes. She specializes in creative ways to ensure clients are happy with regards to product selection, order processing and customer service. She has used her professional experience to inventory new stores allowing the client the freedom and confidence to focus on other tasks. She is also very experienced in managing drop shipping for many internet accounts. Laura lives near the beach with her two cats. She loves music, exercise reading and writing.

Lou Anginone: Lou is our latest and greatest addition to the Honey’s Place team! He fits in so well it’s like he’s always been here! Lou began in the Adult Industry 12 ½ years ago at New Beginnings. He began working with us at Honey’s Place about 6 months ago. He brings with him a strong reputation and solid relationships with all of our vendors and many clients. His product knowledge and amazing customer service skills are a big asset to his position here. Lou is very creative and focuses on making sure he gets the job done right no matter what it takes. Lou is happily married with a beautiful daughter. He enjoys music, cars and tattoos. We are pleased to have Lou as a part of our team!

Rob Walker: Rob is the newest addition to our family! He has worked in the adult industry for over 5 years. He stared as a Sales Associate at the Iconic Hustler Hollywood on the Sunset Strip. In less then 2 years, Rob rose to the position of District Manager, running 6 Hustler Hollywood stores. After his years at Hustler,Rob moved over to the distribution side, working for Girls Gone Wild. While at GGW, Rob earned a reputation for straight-forward counsel and going above and beyond for his clients. Rob brings a tremendous amount of retail, merchandising, product and distribution knowledge to the table. This makes Rob not just a sales rep, but instead a trusted adviser to his retail and online clients. In his free time, Rob enjoys apparel, web design and movies.

David Denson: David has been a sales rep in the adult industry for nearly 14 years. He began his career in 1995 at World News and has been with Honey’s Place for the past 11 years. You can count of David to be 100 percent honest with you about the products you are about to purchase. He also specializes in helping clients set up their stores as he also has a history of retail experience within this industry. David’s passion in life Plymouth and Dodge muscle cars and anything having to do with them. He has had many of them over the years.
